#feelingalone

I am nobody to someone!

I sit on a corner of a room where nobody can feel my presence – a presence which is something to worth for. The room is full of good and bad noises made by my classmates: laughter, gossips, worries, grievances and a sound of distress. I want to join my classmates but the corner keeps on pulling me away from them saying, “Stop of breaking away from here, they didn’t need you for you are nobody. You think that they really loved you, you are wrong dude. Wake up and watch them. THEY NEED YOU is different from THEY WANT YOU. ” I want to get out from that corner because I don’t want to hear that eerie voice which keeps ringing on my mind but I CAN’T. I was locked in a corner that seems like a cage that could not breach out with any thieves or a most wanted person in a cell and chained in the thick iron bars of the cage.  I could not do anything to free myself.
Then, I heard a clinking sound from the cage and saw a gleam as it opens.  ”Now watch closely to this!” said the cage. I’m still chained, trying myself to break out from that place and watched my friends as they laugh and chitchatting. “It seems like they didn’t need me at all” said to myself. Even my closest friends whom I trust the most keeps on conversing things about me. “Too good for us that Shawn is not here, HAHAHAHA!” said Jack. I heard it and I thought they’re not spiting me, though. The fire inside my heart cools off, breaks down and shattered into pieces. The cage asked, “Do you want to get out from this corner Shawn?” I could not stop my eyes from crying. I am down, deeply down. I cannot make any decisions because my heart was crumpled just like a scratch paper. I’m in doubt, I don’t know if I’ll stay or go out on this cage.
Out on the cage, I saw someone with overflowing and omnipotent power. I could not recognize Him because of the luminous light glowing on His face. “Shawn, you’re not alone.” said the powerful Man. I don’t know what to answer because I just saw my closest friends that they didn’t need me at all. “Who are you? I said to Him.  He answered, “I’m your friend, the best friend that you have, a Friend who keeps on helping you to solve your problems, a Friend who protects, guards, and guides you 24/7, a Friend who comforts you in your darkest hour, a Friend who will sacrifice His self just to help and save you, a Friend who will never leave you nor forsake you and a Friend who will love you unconditionally. Though you’re closest friends said that, they still love you. There are so many people around you that really love you so much. All you have to is to search for them. Don’t put hatred in your heart towards Jack and the rest of your friends. You should love them still. ” The distress and anger that I have dissolves like a sugar in a hot water and even a grain of anger and distress could not be found. I stand up, shout and use all my strengths to break these chains out from my hands and feet. And He was there, He breaks the thick iron bars of the cage and helps me to free myself. The chains break and all the thick iron bars in the cage break down.  He comes closer to me then, wipes the tears from my eyes. He took me in His arms and I feel the enormous love that He had for me and for my friends. Then, He said to me with a smile “You are not alone, my son. I am here and your friends will always be there in times that you need them. ” I feel the joy inside my heart. I asked “Thank You Mister but who are You?” He didn’t reply and slowly disappeared in my sight.
“Kring, kring, kring, kring!”  I woke up and realized that I fell asleep on the corner. Then, all of my classmates stare at me including our professor. “Shawn, this is a classroom not a bedroom. Class, don’t forget to pass your projects tomorrow. Class dismiss” said the professor. Then, all of my classmates who are starting to pack up laugh saying “It’s okay dude, we didn’t disturb you from you sleep because I know that you spent sleepless nights doing our requirements.” I sighed and said to myself, “Pfft, it was all a dream.”
